Rashida Patel

Rashida Patel is an experienced professional in health policy and research, currently serving as Manager and Senior Policy Advisor at Health Canada in the Oral Health Branch since May 2021, and previously as a Senior Policy Analyst for the COVID-19 Taskforce. Prior to this, Rashida worked at the National Research Council Canada for nearly a decade, holding various roles including Program and Project Advisor, Policy Integration Officer, Client Relationship Leader, and Contracts Officer, focusing on contracting, intellectual property, and business development. Rashida holds two Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto Scarborough and the University of Toronto.
