Stella Chen

Stella Chen is a Senior Scientific Evaluator with experience in conducting safety assessments related to COVID vaccines, as well as pre-market safety assessments of novel foods and screening and reviewing Natural Health Products (NHP) product applications. Stella has also worked as an Epidemiologist and Literature Reviewer at the Public Health Agency of Canada, assisting in the development of the NACI Seasonal Influenza Statement. Additionally, Stella has experience as a Targeted Surveys Scientific Support at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and as a Co-president for the uOttawaBookworms at the University of Ottawa. Stella holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences with Co-op from the University of Ottawa.
