Alaina Boyer, PhD, serves as the Senior Director of Programs and Director of Implementation Research at the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, leading a team focused on developing evidence-based practices through research initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Research Associate at the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance, where responsibilities included liaising for patient-centered outcomes research, and as a Research Scientist and Consultant at Jericho Sciences, contributing to antiviral drug studies for HIV-1. Alaina's early career involved significant research on breast cancer drug interactions during a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, and extensive graduate research at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Educational credentials include a PhD in Cancer Biology from Wayne State University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan.
