Health Care for the Homeless
Lauren Ojeda is a dedicated professional with a strong background in public health and anthropology. Currently serving as a Housing Services Case Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at Health Care for the Homeless since September 2017, Lauren has a proven track record of addressing social issues. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Researcher with the United Nations Gender Equality in Public Administration Working Group, where research focused on gender and age data trends in Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, Lauren has interned at Heritage Community Initiatives, working on food insecurity among youth, and conducted anthropological research in Cochabamba, Bolivia, related to mental health perceptions. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
