As CFO, Hal oversees an annual budget of $46 million and supervises the Finance and Facility Departments. He began at HCRS in 2004 as the Controller, at a time when the Agency budget was at $23 million. In 2006, he was promoted to CFO. Hal graduated from Rutgers University with an Economics degree and an accounting program background. He worked in Public Accounting, earning his CPA credentials, and for a number of years worked as an Auditor, Tax Preparer, and Accounting Generalist. Hal left Public Accounting to work for a diverse number of for-profit firms as Controller before taking a position at Northeast Kingdom Human Services, prior to joining HCRS.
