Katherine Kalina MA LMHC LADC1 has extensive work experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse counseling. Katherine started their career in 2008 as a Clinical Practicum Student at Boston Medical Center's Psychiatric Consultation and Liaison Services. Katherine then completed a Clinical Internship at the Boston VA Healthcare System from September 2008 to May 2009.
In 2009, Katherine joined Community Substance Abuse Centers as a Substance Abuse Counselor and later became a Senior Counselor. Katherine worked in this role from November 2009 to June 2014.

Health Care Resource Centers ("HCRC"), formerly known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, is a very well-established company which provides integrated medical and counseling approaches grounded in an individualized recovery-oriented philosophy that treats addiction as a bio-psychosocial disease.
