Alan Pierce is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data architecture and management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Technical Director and previously as Senior Data Architect at Health Catalyst since July 2013, Alan plays a crucial role in the design and implementation of comprehensive data warehousing solutions that integrate clinical, financial, and patient experience data for healthcare systems. Prior to this, Alan worked as a Database Developer at InnovaSystems International, focusing on developing database applications for government agencies. Alan's career also includes a position as Program Manager at the University of Utah, overseeing operations related to course material production, as well as managing national admissions operations at Steiner Education Group. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management and multiple degrees in Information Systems and Business Administration from the University of Utah.
