Jeremy Hance

Jeremy Hance is a freelance journalist, editor, and columnist. Currently a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT, Jeremy is working on a book project on Sumatran rhinos and the loss of megafauna. Additionally, Jeremy writes a monthly column for Mongabay.com and is also a book author for Health Communications, Inc. Prior to their current roles, Jeremy was a senior writer and editor at Mongabay.com and a freelance blogger for the Guardian News & Media, focusing on radical conservation. Jeremy holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Macalester College and a Graduate Liberal Arts degree from St. John's College.
