Emily Orkin has a diverse work experience history. Emily started their career in 2019 as a Birthright Israel Recruitment Intern at Hillel International. Emily then went on to work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Subiaul Social Cognition Lab, where they assisted Dr. Subiaul in a research study on observational learning in children and adults. In 2020, Emily took on two internships, first as a Wellness Strategy Intern at Hillel at The George Washington University, and then as a Campaign Services Intern at Hillel International. In 2021, they joined The Health Management Academy as a Business Development Associate, where they engaged with prospective health system executives and created marketing content. Currently, Emily works as a Customer Success Manager at the Health Data Analytics Institute, starting in 2022.
Emily Orkin completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Anthropology from The George Washington University from 2017 to 2021. Emily also participated in a study abroad program in Rome, Italy through The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University in 2020.
Prior to their undergraduate studies, Emily attended Canton High School from 2013 to 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Emily has obtained multiple certifications. In July 2020, they completed the "PowerPoint: Designing Better Slides" course from LinkedIn. In June 2020, they achieved certifications in "Economics for Everyone: Understanding a Recession" and "Excel Essential Training (Office 365)" from LinkedIn. Emily also completed the "Excel: Tips and Tricks" course in June 2020 through LinkedIn. Furthermore, in May 2019, Emily obtained a certification in "Social and Behavioral Research" from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).
