Katherine Villeda is a dedicated advocate for health equity with extensive experience in policy and community organizing. Currently serving as the Director of Policy & Advocacy at Health Equity Solutions, Katherine previously contributed as a Policy Analyst at Community Catalyst, focusing on healthcare access for immigrant populations. Katherine’s commitment to immigrant rights and health care equity is further demonstrated through roles at Connecticut Students for a Dream as a Board Member and at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, where Katherine spearheaded significant campaigns. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Social Inequalities from the University of Connecticut and has a proven track record in coalition building, policy analysis, and advocacy.
