Jennifer Tidwell

Jennifer Tidwell serves as the Principal Place Strategist at Health Forward Foundation, with experience in health and housing strategies since October 2023. Prior roles include Deputy Director at Housing and Community Development (June 2022 - October 2023) and Division Manager at the City of Kansas City, Missouri (June 2017 - June 2022). Previously, Jennifer held the position of Regional Administrator for HUD-Region VII at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (November 2013 - January 2017), and Deputy Director at the Missouri Housing Development Commission (August 2010 - November 2013). Early in the career, Jennifer served as State Tax Commissioner for the State of Missouri (May 2001 - August 2010), overseeing the assessment processes of 115 counties. Jennifer began their career as a Financial Analyst at the Missouri Housing Development Commission (November 1987 - December 1994). Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business, an Executive Education Certification from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from Baker University.
