Johnathan Coleman, CISSP, serves as Principal at Security Risk Solutions, Inc. since December 2004, focusing on Information Security Risk Management. Currently, Johnathan holds the positions of CISO at The Sequoia Project and Health IT Program Manager at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, where projects include Clinical Decision Support and Data Tagging for Social Determinants of Health. As Co-Chair of the Community Based Care and Privacy Work Group at Health Level Seven International, Johnathan facilitates health IT security and privacy standards development. Previous roles include Coordinator of the Standards and Interoperability Framework at the US Department of Health and Human Services, and Visiting Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University's SEI/CERT. Johnathan's experience also encompasses leadership positions in healthcare security compliance, program management at a Defense Contracting company, and various engineering roles in the British Army. Academic qualifications include a BEng in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science and training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
