Amanda Lewis

Amanda Lewis has extensive work experience in the field of clinical trials and research. Amanda is currently working as the Operations Director for Clinical Trials at CorEvitas-Specialty EMR Data starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Project Manager at the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining CorEvitas, Amanda worked at the University of Bristol from 2014 to 2022. During this time, they held various positions including Senior Clinical Trials Manager and Research Scientist. Their responsibilities included managing multiple trials such as CoMiTED, RELIEF, UPSTREAM, STRATA, and PURSUIT. Amanda also served as a Short Course Coordinator and Module Tutor at the Bristol Medical School and was involved in various committees and working groups related to trial methodology, research partnerships, and inclusion.

From 2012 to 2014, Amanda worked as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Amanda had additional responsibilities such as module tutoring, chairing committees, and supervising PhD students.

Prior to their role at the University of Oxford, Amanda worked as an NIHR SPCR Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and the University of Birmingham from 2010 to 2013.

Amanda Lewis completed their education at various institutions. From 2002 to 2005, they attended the University of Birmingham where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree with a first-class distinction in the field of Sport, Physical Education, and Community Studies. Amanda then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Public Health from the University of Bristol from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physical Activity, Health Promotion, and Psychology at the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, in June 2017, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from The Knowledge Academy in Bristol, UK.
