Surah Alsawaf

Surah Alsawaf, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Health Management Associates since April 2023. Previously, Surah held various roles at L.A. Care Health Plan from June 2018 to March 2023, including Manager and Compliance Advisor in Regulatory Affairs, focusing on audit readiness and liaising with regulatory agencies. Experience also includes coordinating office operations at Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute and serving as a receptionist at Sacramento Heart Ambulatory Surgical Center. Surah's research background includes evaluating cochlear implant effects at the UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain and volunteering at Shifa Community Clinic. Surah earned a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Southern California and dual Bachelor's degrees in Neurobiology, Physiology, Behavior, and Linguistics from the University of California, Davis.
