Amy Groome has a diverse work experience. Amy started their most recent role in September 2022 as a Network Operations Scheduling Coordinator at Health Monitor Network. Prior to this, from September 2021 to February 2022, they worked as a Health and Safety Assistant/COVID Tester at Axiom Medical. In this role, they assisted in maintaining COVID-19 compliance on television production sets, managed inventory and PPE, and conducted COVID-19 tests for the cast and crew. Before that, from January 2021 to April 2021, they were an MHA Student Intern at Trinitas Comprehensive Cancer Center. Finally, from October 2018 to January 2020, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Eastwick College.

Amy Groome attended Plymouth State University from 1999 to 2001, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts. Amy then enrolled at Montclair State University from 2002 to 2006, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in General Humanities. In 2011, Amy attended Mercy College and completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Health Administration degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Rutgers University–New Brunswick from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Amy also holds several certifications including Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
