Alissa Ko

Alissa Ko is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in strategic engagement and advocacy. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Public Affairs at Health Net since June 2019, Alissa has also held significant roles, including Vice President of Policy, Government Affairs, and Advocacy at Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, and Principal at KO Strategies. Alissa's earlier experience includes key positions at the White House as Senior Associate Director, where outreach to state attorneys general and the AAPI community was a focus, and at Ready for Hillary as Deputy Director, managing operations for a national campaign. Alissa has a strong background in constituency outreach and political program management, with notable contributions to various political organizations, including Obama for America and the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Alissa holds a BA in Business Economics with a minor in Public Policy from UCLA.
