Kenneth Lock

Kenneth Lock currently serves as the Director of Actuarial Services at Health Net, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, Kenneth was the Head Health Plan Actuary at Curative from 2022 to 2023, focusing on actuarial, underwriting, and provider contracting analysis for a start-up health plan. Kenneth's experience also includes serving as a Principal Consultant at Mercer from 2017 to 2022, specializing in health and welfare benefit plan actuarial consulting for large group employers. Earlier in the career, Kenneth worked as a Senior Actuarial Consultant at Anthem, Inc. from 2014 to 2017, an Actuary at Health Net from 2012 to 2014, and held the position of Math Department Chair and Teacher at Teach For America between 2008 and 2012. Kenneth holds an M.Ed. in Urban Education from UCLA and a Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics - Economics from Brown University.
