Chris Lowry

Chris Lowry currently serves as the Regional Director Hospital & Specialist Services for Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand since January 2023 and has been a Board Trustee for Life Flight Trust since 2017. Previously, Chris held the position of Executive Director Hospital & Community Services at Waikato DHB from January 2021 to January 2023 and worked as General Manager for Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD in New South Wales from August 2018 to December 2020, leading the Southern Illawarra Hospitals Group. Chris's extensive experience in healthcare management also includes a long tenure at Capital & Coast District Health Board, where responsibilities spanned various senior operational roles until June 2018. Earlier career roles were held at Whanganui District Health Board from 1980 to 2001, featuring responsibilities from Registered Nurse to Operations Manager.
