Jane McEntee

Jane McEntee currently serves as the Interim Business Development Manager for the Northern Region at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, a position held since March 2023. Previously, Jane held the role of General Manager at Auckland Regional Public Health Service from February 2015 to March 2023, where efforts focused on enhancing population health through health protection and improvement initiatives. Jane's earlier experience includes positions at the Ministry of Health New Zealand, where leadership of the National Screening Unit and various screening programs was undertaken. Jane also worked as a Community Liaison Nurse with the Cancer Society Auckland Division from 1990 to 1998. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Health Science from Auckland Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing and Education from Massey University, and a Diploma in Nursing from Auckland Technical Institute.
