Steve Crombie

Steve Crombie currently serves as the Regional Head of Infrastructure for Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora, a position held since October 2023. With extensive experience in property and facility management, Steve previously held the title of Director Property and Facilities at Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley from May 2021 to October 2023, and served as the General Manager of Infrastructure and Assets at Capital & Coast District Health Board from December 2019 to May 2021. Additional roles include General Manager of Strategic Projects at Mash Trust, Regional Manager at ReoFab Limited, and several positions at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, where responsibilities ranged from Property and Facilities Manager to Acting Operations Manager. Steve's entrepreneurial experience includes owning and managing Signature Homes Palmerston North from February 2003 to December 2010. Educational qualifications include an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and a New Zealand Certificate in Quantity Surveying from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
