Sydney Kingstone

Sydney Kingstone, Ph.D., currently serves as the Principal Advisor for Public Health Intelligence at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Analyst for Research & Evaluation at the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, focusing on the Leo Moana o Aotearoa National Survey of Pacific Languages, and Senior Researcher at Te Hiringa Hauora/Health Promotion Agency, where engagement with community stakeholders shaped youth-focused research. With a doctoral degree in Linguistics from The Australian National University, Sydney has developed expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, statistical analysis, and academic instruction through various positions including statistical analyst at Stats NZ and psychology tutor. Other notable experiences span roles in editing and instructional capacities across organizations such as Victoria University of Wellington and Outward Bound Australia.
