Toby Regan

Toby Regan serves as the National Manager for Major Projects in Health Protection at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora since July 2022, leading initiatives to enhance public health services through innovative systems and practices. Previously, Toby held various roles at the Ministry of Health New Zealand, including Group Manager for Public Health Operations, where significant contributions included coordinating national responses to health crises and successfully pivoting resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. A seasoned public health professional, Toby has also served as a consultant through Toby Regan and Associates and held managerial positions within the Hutt Valley DHB and other health organizations. Toby's educational background includes Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Public Health, Applied Science, and Environmental Health from the University of Otago and Massey University.
