Bill Knecht

Bill Knecht has a strong background in project management and process optimization. Bill began their career at Kutztown University Alumni Association, where they served as a Student Supervisor from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Vanguard and held various roles including Client Relationship Associate, Data Analyst, Operations Supervisor, Resource Management Supervisor, and Project Manager. During their time at Vanguard, they focused on utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to understand, improve, and control processes. Bill also developed dashboards, engaged crew members in Six Sigma and Lean tools, and collaborated with internal leadership and external vendors. In 2014, they joined Magic Hat Consulting as a Project Manager, where they assisted with the onboarding of new business partners and delivered strategic updates to executive sponsors. Since 2015, Bill has been with Health Partners Plans, initially serving as the Manager of the Project Management Office before being promoted to Director. In their current role, they lead the process optimization team and supports the development of a continuous improvement culture. Bill trains front-line leaders on Six Sigma skills and leads process improvement initiatives to create value for members and business partners. Additionally, Bill has significant experience in defining and executing project management processes and practices, as they also held the position of Director of the Project Management Office at Health Partners Plans.

Bill Knecht earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2004. Bill then pursued further education and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Saint Joseph's University from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Six Sigma Blackbelt certification from Villanova University in 2013.
