Jo Q. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in auditing and program management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the NCQA Program Manager at Health Plan of San Mateo since August 2022, Jo previously held a series of progressively responsible auditing roles at Alameda County from February 2017 to July 2022, including Principal Auditor and Senior Supervising Auditor. Earlier experience includes a Compliance Auditor position at Health Plan of San Mateo from 2015 to 2017 and Quality Manager at Specialized Packaging Solutions, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. Jo’s career began at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Purification Biotechnician from 2006 to 2009. Jo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina.
