Mary Shea

As Vice President of Client Services, Mary is responsible for the management of the client-facing account management team. She oversees the installation of new business and the retention of existing business. Mary assists the sales team in key account finalist meetings and strategizes on the development and launch of new products.

Mary joined Health Plans in 1987 and played an integral role in the acquisitions of MedWatch, LLC in 2014, and TrestleTree, LLC in 2015. She has orchestrated many successful group implementations and has also managed their first, and longest, in-force account for over 25 years.

Earlier in her career at Health Plans, Mary served numerous roles including account manager, manager of client services, and director of client services, accumulating broad knowledge of every facet of the company. Mary has more than 30 years of experience in the health insurance industry and is widely regarded for her expertise in self-funding.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
