Senior Epidemiologist at Health Protection Surveillance Centre

Sarah Jackson is an experienced epidemiologist who has worked at the Health Protection Surveillance Centre since 2000. Sarah has a strong background in infectious disease epidemiology, with a focus on COVID-19, tuberculosis, outbreaks, vectorborne disease, emergency planning, and infectious intestinal disease. Sarah holds a PhD in Tuberculosis epidemiology and an MSc in Infectious Diseases from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Sarah also has a Certificate in Geographical Information Systems from Dublin Institute of Technology and a BSc in Zoology from Aberystwyth University.
