John L.

John L. has an extensive work experience in the field of technology. John started their career at Cumberland County Public Schools as a Network Administrator and later became a Systems Administrator, where they managed technology programs and maintained network infrastructure. In 2011, John joined Mecklenburg County Public Schools as an Assistant Director of Technology, where they served as a project manager and supervised team members. Since 2012, they have been working at Health Quality Innovators (HQI), first as an Information Technology Manager, responsible for all technology services, and currently as the Director of Technology, leading strategic development and managing technology budgets.

John L. completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. John attended the institute from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Longwood University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, John L. holds various certifications in the field of information technology. John received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification from Microsoft in January 2023. Prior to that, in November 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification, as well as the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification in October 2022. Furthermore, in May 2012, they achieved the MCTS - Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory certification, also from Microsoft.
