Andrew Nagel

Andrew Nagel is a Senior Backend Engineer at Health Recovery Solutions since May 2020, focusing on maintaining and developing REST APIs for remote patient monitoring applications using various programming languages including Laravel PHP and Java. Prior to this role, Andrew served as a Senior Software Developer at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre from November 2013 to February 2020, where responsibilities included stack design, web application development, and team leadership while managing legacy code. Andrew's career also includes experience as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, teaching undergraduate courses in computer science and participating in research, along with a role as a Software Programmer/Research Assistant at the Research Foundation of CUNY, developing applications for grant and scholarship processes. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Graduate Center, CUNY, a Master of Science in Computer Science from The City College of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Salisbury University.
