Laura Rivadulla Costa

Laura Rivadulla Costa is a PhD student at the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela since October 2021. Previously, Laura engaged in research and academic activities, including a master's degree in Biomedical Research at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and various research internships at CICA UDC and CiQUS. Laura holds dual bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the Universidade da Coruna, completed in 2020. Prior practical experience includes work as a hatchery aquaculturist at Stolt Sea Farm and as a research intern at different institutions.

Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela

The Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela (IDIS) is a translational research, innovation and knowledge transfer centre which leverages and boosts synergies between the University and the Health Care Areas of Santiago de Compostela and Barbanza, and of Lugo, A Mariña and Monforte de Lemos. IDIS was officially certified as a research centre of the Spanish Health System by the Institute of Health Carlos III in March 2010.
