Mark Friedberg

Mark Friedberg is a seasoned medical professional and healthcare researcher currently serving as a Board Member at Health Resources in Action (HRiA) and Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP), alongside holding the position of Senior Vice President for Performance Measurement & Improvement at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts since July 2019. Mark has been an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School since 2014 and previously worked as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine from 2009 to 2014. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Mark has advanced through various roles since 2003, culminating in the role of Attending Physician. Additionally, Mark contributed to the RAND Corporation as a Senior Physician Policy Researcher and Director of the Boston Office from 2016 to 2019. Mark holds a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and statistics from Swarthmore College.
