Sander de Ridder is a Metadata/Semantic Specialist currently working at Health-RI. Previously, Sander has worked in various roles including as a Bioinformatician at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, a Bioinformatician/Computer Scientist at The Hyve, and a Senior Data Manager at the Archipelago of Ovarian Cancer Research and COMPRehensive health outcome research. Sander has a background in Bioinformatics and Computer Science, with a Master's degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam.

The development of novel personalized healthcare solutions benefits from the integration of highly diverse collections of longitudinal health and biomedical data - generated at different hospitals and research centers. The common goal of Health-RI is to interconnect biomedical resources, empowering researchers to develop better personalized medicine and health solutions.
