Erik Carlson

Erik Carlson has extensive experience in labor relations, human resources, and organizational support, currently serving as a Local Unit Advisor at the Health Sciences Association of Alberta since July 2015, where responsibilities include advising Local Unit Executives on policy and communication strategies. Prior roles include Labour Relations Officer, HR Advisor, and Labour Relations Advisor across various organizations, including the University of Calgary and the Canada Revenue Agency, where Erik provided guidance on collective agreements, workplace communication, and disciplinary matters. Early career experience includes positions in management and customer service at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Concordia University.
