Mayra Ameneiros is a Senior Fellow at the International Biosecurity and Biosafety Initiative for Science (IBBIS). Mayra holds a postgraduate degree in International Security, Disarmament, and Non-proliferation of WMD from NPSGlobal and an MSc in transfusion medicine and immunohematology from the Argentine Association of Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy. Additionally, Mayra has a University Graduate Studies degree in biochemistry with a biotechnology orientation from the University of Buenos Aires. Ameneiros has held various roles in organizations such as CRDF Global, World Health Organization, and Sandia National Laboratories, contributing to global health security and biosafety initiatives.
