Stephen Opoka is an experienced football professional currently serving as the Women’s Academy Manager at West Ham United FC since July 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the academy’s strategic and technical aspects. Stephen has led initiatives to enhance the overall experience for players and staff, focusing on professional development and high-performance environments. Previous roles at West Ham United included Head Coach and Assistant Coach for the WSL Academy U21s, along with positions that involved youth development and elite training methods. Additionally, Stephen is the Director of Sportz & Skillz Limited and has coached at the University of East London. Backed by a diverse professional background, including sales and customer service roles, Stephen also played professionally for Colchester United F.C. from 2005 to 2008.
