Richard Aston

Richard Aston has extensive work experience in leadership and technology roles. Richard is currently the Chief Information Officer at Health Shield Friendly Society Ltd. Prior to this, they served as a Transformation Director at an undisclosed company from February 2022 to February 2023. From January to December 2021, Richard was the Vice President of Architecture at Sage. As an Interim IT Director and Transformation Director, they worked independently from February 2019 to January 2021. From July 2017 to February 2019, Richard held the position of Director of Solutions, Europe at Assurant. Before that, they worked as an Interim Director, Vice President in various organizations, providing technology services and solutions. Richard served as the Vice President of Services at Logicalis from February 2014 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as the Head of Solutions, Architecture, and Consulting at Fujitsu and the IT Director/CTO. Richard also had leadership positions in cloud-based technology services and as a Technology Director/CTO at Fujitsu.

Richard Aston attended The University of Auckland from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree. Their field of study during this time was Statistics, Computing, and Geography.
