Sylvie Lachapelle

Sylvie Lachapelle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health care leadership and management. Currently serving as the Director of the Surveyor Secretariat at the Health Standards Organization (HSO) since October 2016, Sylvie oversees a team of 700 senior health care professionals, focusing on strategic orientation and project implementation for the Surveyor Secretariat program. Prior to HSO, Sylvie held various managerial roles at Accreditation Canada, including Manager of the Accreditation Assessment Secretariat and Manager of Surveyor Human Resources, from October 2007 to October 2017. Early career experiences include working as a French Language Health Services Development Consultant and Project Coordinator. Sylvie holds a Master's degree in Social Services with a focus on Health Care from the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) from the Canadian College of Health Leaders, among other certifications.
