Kathie Crane, RN, MSN

Kathie Crane, RN, MSN has extensive work experience in the field of clinical informatics. Starting in 1993 at Tucson Medical Center, they served as a Night Shift Supervisor and later as an RN and Manager of Clinical Informatics/Applications. In these roles, they provided support for TMC's EMR and managed a team of 30 individuals. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Systems Analyst from 2002 to 2006.

In 2013, Kathie joined Health Systems Informatics (HSi) as the Director of Clinical Informatics. Kathie provided leadership and expertise for implementation, upgrades, and optimization of clinical systems. Kathie also served as a liaison between Clinical and Information Technology leadership, project teams, and vendor representatives. In October 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Consulting Director, overseeing Clinical Informatics and Application Services at HSi.

Kathie Crane, RN, MSN has a diverse education history in the field of nursing. Kathie obtained their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Pima Community College, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Afterward, they pursued further education at Walden University, earning their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Nursing Informatics from 2010 to 2013.
