David Baum

David Baum is a seasoned expert in corporate development and strategy, currently serving as a Mentor at Health Wildcatters since September 2021, where David advises healthcare startup entrepreneurs on strategy and development within a venture accelerator framework. Simultaneously, David works as a Corporate Development Executive at a stealth fintech startup, beginning in January 2020. Prior experience includes a tenure at Western Digital from January 2011 to May 2019, progressing from Consultant to Senior Manager overseeing significant M&A transactions and strategic investments. Previously, as Vice President at VisionPoint from July 2007 to January 2011, David played a key role in the successful sale of a storage startup and facilitated the sale of a SaaS startup. David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
