Marcia Frederick, APR

Marcia Frederick, APR has over 20 years of experience in communications and public relations. Marcia began their career in 2000 as a Public Relations Supervisor at Gerbig, Snell/Weisheimer (GSW). In 2002, they moved to inChord Communications as Director of Marketing & Communications. In 2005, they joined inVentiv Communications as Vice President of Corporate Communications, where they managed the rebranding and relaunch of the corporate brand following Ventiv Health's acquisition of inChord Communications. In 2008, they were promoted to Vice President of Corporate Communications at inVentiv Health (now known as Syneos Health). During their time there, they served as senior communications counsel to the CEO and other executive leaders and supported the company’s growth in annual revenue to more than $2 billion. In 2012, they became Director of Communications at Highlights for Children, where they led the Communications team for an internationally known media brand and publisher of America’s most-read children’s magazines. In 2014, they started their own consulting firm, Marcia C. Frederick Consulting, as a Communications Consultant and Freelance Writer. In 2015, they joined Cardinal Health as Director of Communications Business Partner, Specialty Solutions, where they led internal and external communications for one of the fastest growing businesses inside Cardinal Health. Currently, they are Vice President and Senior Director at Health+Commerce.
