Laurie Mahowald

Laurie Mahowald is an experienced real estate professional currently serving as Vice President of Real Estate at Target since April 2003. In this role, Laurie is responsible for the strategy and execution of the global retail, supply chain, and office real estate portfolio, overseeing the annual site selection for approximately 25-35 new stores. Prior positions at Target include Director of Property Development for Canada, where Laurie managed a team of around 140 people, and Director of Real Estate for the Southeastern US, focusing on the strategy for over 400 existing stores. Earlier experience includes roles at Nash Finch Company and the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Minnesota.
