Nicole Beckstrand has extensive experience in marketing and communications, having held roles in various organizations since 2001. Nicole began their career as a Senior Account Executive at Atkins + Associates in 2001, followed by a Business and Community Outreach role for the City of San Diego at Katz & Associates, Inc. in 2002. In 2003, they became Manager of Public Relations at Biosite Incorporated, where they created and executed internal and external communication strategies for a publicly traded, FDA-regulated diagnostics company. In 2007, they joined California Healthcare Institute as Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Senior Director of Marketing and Communication. In 2012, they moved to Millennium Health as Vice President of Integrated Communications and Senior Director of Corporate Communications. In 2016, they held two positions concurrently, Vice President of PR & Communications at Evofem, Inc. and Public Relations at Syneos Health (Previously INC Research/inVentiv Health), where they provided counsel and communications strategies for clients. In 2018, they took on the role of Marketing & Communications COE President and Lead for the Pacific Region at Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Most recently, in 2020, they became Executive Vice President of Integrated Marketing Communication at Health+Commerce.

Nicole Beckstrand obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UC San Diego in 1999. In June of 2019, they obtained a certification in Marketing Tools: Digital Marketing from LinkedIn.
