Duc Hung Pham

Duc Hung Pham has been working in the software engineering field since 2022, when they began working at HEALTH[at]SCALE Technologies as a Software Engineer. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Rice University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant. During their time as a Research Assistant, they built an energy-efficient indoor positioning system using signal readings from inertial measurement units combined with WiFi positioning techniques in an Android platform. Duc Hung also employed signal processing techniques such as Butterworth filter and machine learning techniques such as SVM and ANN. During their time as a Teaching Assistant, they took part in organizing course materials and structure, maintained weekly office hours, answered students' technical and non-technical questions, and graded students' homework and provided feedback. In 2019, they also worked as a Research Assistant Intern at India Institute of Technology Hyderabad.

Duc Hung Pham's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Rice University (2016-2021), a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Stony Brook University (2012-2016), and a secondary education from Tran Phu Gifted High School (2007-2010).
