John Santelli

John Santelli is the CIO of UnitedHealth Group and the EVP of Optum Technology, the technology delivery division of Optum serving the broad customer base of Optum and UnitedHealthcare. John joined UnitedHealth Group in 1986 and has served as the group’s CIO since 2007 providing leadership to enterprise architecture, foundational technology capabilities and transformative initiatives for technology growth and development at UnitedHealth Group. John holds an MS in Software Engineering from Union College and a BS in Computer Science from SUNY-Brockport.
