As the Chief Entrepreneur, Chairman, and CEO of Healthbridge since its founding in 1999, Gerrie has been instrumental in establishing a leading healthtech platform in South Africa, focusing on facilitating information flow and collaboration among healthcare providers, patients, and funders. Additionally, Gerrie served as CEO of Healthbridge USA, Inc. from June 2010 to November 2023, and held key leadership roles at tradebridge and DCM (Pty) Ltd. / Intuitive (Pty) Ltd., where strategic business development and addressing consumer debt issues were prioritized. Gerrie's earlier career included providing strategic advice to executives at Monitor Group and contributing to innovative automation projects in the medical device sector.
