David Ripley MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. David has held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Healthbridge Complex Care + Rehabilitation. David has also worked as an Associate Professor at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine since 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Section Chief of Brain Injury Medicine and Rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab from 2012 to 2022. Before joining Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, they worked as the Medical Director of the Rocky Mountain Regional Brain Injury Model System at Craig Hospital from 2004 to 2012. David started their medical career as the Medical Director of Post Acute Brain Injury Services at Shepherd Center from 2001 to 2004.
David Ripley MD completed their residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in 1996. In 1991, they earned a Master of Science degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor from Georgia State University. David'sundergraduate studies were completed at Emory University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1989.
