Patrick Mahoney

Vice President at Healthcare Leaders of New York

Patrick Mahoney is the Project Manager, Global Programs at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In his current role, he works across the organization to support international partnerships, strategic international operations, and international patient access/experience initiatives. His professional experience includes international healthcare operation planning and management, international partner identification and venture establishment, and international patient access optimization (including medical interpretation). He leverages his international experience to eliminate barriers to care, enhance the patient experience, and to build relationships with partners from around the world to further MSK’s patient care, research, and education initiatives. Patrick is pursuing a Master’s in Health Administration from Columbia University in New York (Mailman School of Public Health; expected graduation spring ‘23) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and East Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin. He is accredited in Chinese Language from Nankai and National Chengchi Universities.

Before serving as the HLNY Secretary, Patrick led the HLNY marketing committee in 2020 and co-led the HLNY programs committee in 2021 with Saumya Mamgain. He supremely enjoys working with the HLNY leadership, committee leaders, committee members, volunteers, and the healthcare professionals who tune into and join our events. He sees HLNY as an excellent network for healthcare professionals in the tri-state area to leverage regardless of career stage. In this vein, he will continue to help HLNY provide opportunities for students, early/mid careerists, clinical leaders, and healthcare executives to both learn and grow their network.
