Kristen Paulsen-Aguirre

Kristen Paulsen-Aguirre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and quality improvement, currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC since February 2016. In this role, Kristen develops training materials, provides technical consultation, and supervises surveyors while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance educational efforts related to federal survey processes. Prior to this, Kristen was a Quality Improvement Specialist at VIVAGE where a commitment to improving care in long-term facilities was demonstrated, and a Long Term Care Surveyor/Training Supervisor at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, overseeing survey processes and training new staff. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Arizona State University with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Gerontology.
