Alyssa Kauffman

Alyssa Kauffman, MS, RD, LD, serves as a Long Term Care Dietitian at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. since September 2024, and has been a Dietitian at MERCER RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, INC. since April 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Dietitian at Community Health and Wellness Partners of Logan County from May 2019 to September 2024, and as a Youth Development Specialist at the Boys and Girls Club of Brookings in 2018. Alyssa began their career as a Dietary Aide at Green Hills Retirement Community, contributing from August 2012 to December 2017. Alyssa holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition with a Dietetics concentration from Bluffton University. Educational background also includes attendance at Cedarville University, where studies focused on Pharmacy and a Bible minor.
