Betsy Amstutz

Betsy Amstutz has a diverse work experience in the health and wellness industry. Betsy'smost recent role is as a Program Manager at HealthCorps, starting in 2021. In their previous role at Shasta Community Health Center, they served as the Patient Education and Health Promotion Manager from July 2019 to July 2020, and as a Patient Educator from November 2014 to July 2019. At Shasta Community Health Center, they managed a team of six and was responsible for developing health education programs, employee wellness initiatives, and promotional materials. Additionally, Betsy worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Active Wellness LLC from September 2014 to December 2016, and as a Fitness Coordinator Student Assistant at Battelle in 2011. Betsy also has experience in education and community outreach, having worked as a Coordinator at HealthCorps from September 2012 to June 2014, teaching high school students about mental resiliency and health. Prior to that, they served as a Lifeguard Supervisor at Westfield Group/Westfield Insurance from May 2010 to September 2010, and as a Student Advisor at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad in 2010-2011.

Betsy Amstutz has a diverse education history. In 2016 to 2017, they attended Nebraska Methodist College and obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Promotion Management. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor's of Science and Education degree in Exercise Science: Health Promotion. In 2010, they also pursued a non-degree program in Human Movement at the University of Sydney. Before their bachelor's degree, from 2007 to 2008, they engaged in Pre-Physical Therapy Studies at Baldwin Wallace University. Additionally, Betsy holds several certifications. In 2018, they obtained their Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. Betsy also achieved Certified Health Coach accreditation from the National Society of Health Coaches in August 2018. Furthermore, they received their Exercise Physiologist certification from ACSM in January 2012 and their Health Care Provider CPR/AED from the Emergency Care & Safety Institute in February 2018.
