Sarah Martin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sarah worked at HealthCorps as the VP, Head of Programs and Evaluation, where they held a leadership role overseeing programs and evaluation. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director of Programs at the same organization. At Albert Einstein College of Medicine, they worked as a Research Associate, focusing on a research team for an NIH grant aimed at improving wellness in NYC Public High Schools. Sarah was responsible for program development, implementation, data collection, evaluation, and publication. At Innovara, Inc., Sarah was the Director, Medical and Scientific Development, where they developed and conducted training programs for pharma/healthcare teams and created competency models for marketing teams. Sarah also assessed and created development plans for individual team members within sales and marketing teams. Sarah interned at UNICEF, working in the Knowledge Exchange Unit. At Quintiles, Ltd, they held multiple roles, including Global Clinical Study Manager, Associate Clinical Scientist, Sr. Research Coordinator, and Research Coordinator. These positions involved overseeing clinical trials, managing research sites, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Sarah also worked as a Research Scientist at USC Keck School of Medicine, where they developed a computer program for estimating blood volume and contributed to published scientific papers. Sarah had a research intern position at Icogen, where they assisted with business and research plans, participated in development processes, and conducted lab work for medical research.
Sarah Martin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 2000 to 2004. In 2003, they also obtained a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they pursued their Masters of Public Health degree with a focus on Community and International Health at New York University.
